Dynamometer Load Testing
We test the horsepower, torque and speed of each motor we produce. By placing a controllable load on electric motors with various horsepower, the dynamometer can look at your power outputs in multiple scenarios and ensure your motor is running at its top available operational efficiency. Motor Specialty, through Dynamometer Load Testing, ensures that all motors we produce will consistently meet published specifications.
Motor Run Testing
All motors manufactured by MSI are factory “run in” to seat brushes and certify operation. This is done on each and every motor that we manufacture to ensure that all components are running properly and ready for installation in your machine. This is after a thorough inspection of each part and all material as it arrives to our facility.
Armature & Field Testing
Motor Specialty is proud to partner with ESW (Electronic Systems of Wisconsin). All armatures and fields are tested on fully calibrated and maintained ESW testers including our brand-new ESW model AT7000 and AT6000 armature testers. Each product is tested during and after assembly for the highest quality assurance.
AQL 591 (ANSI) Standard Compliance
AQL testing by Motor Specialty adheres to sampling plans as defined in ISO 2859-1. All components that comprise any and all Motor Specialty motors are subject to these stringent quality inspections—no exceptions.
