Motor Specialty is excited to welcome our newest team member Tony Barnier! Tony originally joined us last summer as an intern, while completing his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville. Immediately following graduation, Tony was hired on to join our family!
Since he was a little boy, Tony has been fascinated with how things were designed and manufactured. He was always helping his dad with projects, from small tasks around the house to working on the car. Tony said of his ability, “I definitely got it from him.” (referring to his Dad).
When Tony is not working hard, designing motors at MSI, he can be found enjoying the outdoors either hunting, fishing, or camping. He is a true outdoorsman! During the winter, Tony also enjoys ice fishing or working on his truck. If there is a way to do something himself, he will take on the challenge.
Tony stated, “The thing I love the most about working here at MSI, is the fact that I can design something and go right on to the floor to see it being made. It is great to see how the different components of the motors are made from the beginning stages to the completed product.”
